Dr Joel Meredith
BSc DC

Dr Joel Meredith is a graduate of the prestigious
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Specialization in chiropractic followed a seven-year
period of study and culminated with an internship
at St John’s rehabilitation hospital – the largest
orthopaedic teaching hospital in Ontario.
Since graduation. Dr Meredith has trained in the
latest patented techniques to offer the fastest
and most effective results in the field of back
pain as well as pain and dysfunction resulting
from sports injuries and repetitive strain injuries
(RSI). In particular, Dr Meredith is one of only
a handful of practitioners in Europe certified
in the Graston soft tissue technique. Over the
past four years, Dr Meredith has built up a successful,
referral-based practice in Canary Wharf.
Conveniently situated in South Quay, the clinic
is well placed to serve both the nearby business
community and the growing residential population.
In addition to his success with the local population,
Dr Meredith has provided treatment to professional
footballers, Olympic athletes and professional
dancers. He has also contributed medical articles
to several local publications including Canary
Wharf Magazine, Trax Magazine and Families East
Magazine.
Dr Meredith is a member of The General Chiropractic
Council, The British Chiropractic Association
and a registered healthcare provider for BUPA,
AXA PPP, Cigna, Prudential and recognized by most
health insurance companies.

Dr Gary Backlund M.Tech:Chiro (R.S.A.)

Dr Backlund has over 10 years in clinical experience.
He successfully completed a six-year
Masters Degree in South Africa in 1999 and has
since been in practice for eight years. His course
covered the areas of human sciences, biochemistry,
X-Ray
diagnosis, manipulation and wellness care. Since
graduation, he has kept up to date with the latest
developments, particularly in the field of pelvic
biomechanics, postural correction, work-related
ergonomics and cranial correction.
Over the past three years, Dr Backlund has built
up a large, successful Dockland's practice based
largely on personal referral working on the philosophy
that educating patients gives them best long-term
results.
His treatment techniques include diversified,
SOT (Sacral Occipatal
Technique), Craniopthay, Myofasical dry needing,
acupuncture and core
stability exercise.
Dr Backlund is a member of The Scotish Chiropractic
Association and The General Chiropractic Council
and registered as a health-care provider for most
insurance companies.

Dr Chris Julian BChiroSc, MChiro

Dr Chris Julian graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia in 2003
with a Masters of Chiropractic.
Since graduating he has had an interest in sports working with international sports
teams and athletes. His research into sports injury management while working with
New Zealand Ice Hockey has been published in peer reviewed chiropractic journals.
He has also completed postgraduate training in trigger point dry needling.
Chris applies an integrated approach to practice combining traditional chiropractic
methods with soft tissue techniques as well as rehabilitation exercises and self
management.
